With COVID-19 keeping most of us indoors, we cannot help but think of all of the amazing fans we truly care about around the world whose lives have greatly changed.
From Chefs and Cooks sitting at home experimenting and trying new things while they wait for their restaurants to open again. To those who have had to adapt and learn to work from home, with little to no social exposure. And lastly to all the courageous Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Specialists who are at the front line of this pandemic to help put an end to it.
It is going to be a while before this is all over, but in the meantime, we will try to generate content for you to read and keep you entertained during these difficult times and hope that once this virus is over, we all will have grown stronger.
Our thoughts are with you and your families during these uncertain times. Now more than ever, we can all appreciate just how small the world truly is, and the importance of coming together to protect our global community in times of great need.

Fear and anxiety about COVID-19 can cause people to avoid or reject others even though they are not at risk for spreading the virus.
Older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk for more serious complications from COVID-19.

- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Shortness of breath
Seek medical advice if you
- Develop symptoms
- Have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or live in or have recently traveled from an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19. Call ahead before you go to a doctor’s office or emergency room. Tell them about your recent travel and your symptoms.
They are to:
- Avoid contact with someone who is displaying symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). These symptoms include high temperature and/or new and continuous cough
- Avoid non-essential use of public transport when possible
- Work from home, where possible. Your employer should support you to do this. Please refer to employer guidance for more information
- Avoid large and small gatherings in public spaces, noting that pubs/bars, restaurants, leisure centres and similar venues are currently a bad idea as infections spread easily in closed spaces where people gather together.
- Avoid gatherings with friends and family. Keep in touch using remote technology such as phone, internet, and social media
- Use telephone or online services to contact your GP or other essential services
If possible, you should not go out even to buy food or other essentials. If you are unable to get supplies delivered, you should do what you can to limit social contact when you do leave the house.
You must self-isolate if any of the following applies to you:
- you have COVID-19
- you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
If you do not need to self-isolate, you should still protect yourself and others.
Self-isolation lasts for 14 days
You must stay at home to prevent the possible spread of the virus to other people. Staying home means you:
- do not go to public places such as work, school, shopping centres, childcare or university
- ask someone to get food and other necessities for you and leave them at your front door
- do not let visitors in — only people who usually live with you should be in your home
- do not need to wear a mask in your home, but do wear one if you have to go out (for example to seek medical attention)
- should stay in touch by phone and online with your family and friends
